Exeter or the North
Don't go to Buckfastleigh. Lower Dean is one mile further south.
Stay on the A38 dual carriageway past the exit marked Buckfastleigh, Totnes, Kingsbridge etc. One mile further a smaller sign says LOWER DEAN and a brown one says Pennywell Farm. At the end of this slip-road turn Right going underneath the dual carriageway. Immediate T junction, turn Left. Three hundred yards will find you outside The Workshop. It’s immediately after a little concrete rendered bus shelter.

Plymouth or the South
Stay on the A38 past the big Totnes and Paignton sign down and up over the next hill. Descend onto the flats of the Dart Valley till, soon after the slope levels take the turn off for Buckfastleigh and Lower Dean.
Turn right at the slip road’s end.
The Workshop is within a hundred yards. Immediately before a little concrete rendered bus shelter.

Park opposite, where you see a mud patch provided by the council for that purpose.
